At Shellee’s Green, we believe in clear expectations and fair solutions. We take pride in every product we ship, and we want you to feel confident shopping with us.

Please review the policy below so you know exactly how returns and refunds work.

Returns Eligibility

You may request a return within 30 days of purchase.

To be eligible for a refund:

  • Items must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging
  • Products that have been opened, used, or partially used cannot be returned due to safety and shipping risks

This policy complies with Maine consumer protection standards and ensures the safety of our customers and shipping partners.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable:

  • Opened or used products
  • Items damaged due to misuse or improper handling
  • Final sale or discounted items (clearly marked at purchase)

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

We carefully package every order before it leaves our facility. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect due to our error, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Once verified, we will:

  • Replace the item or
  • Issue a full refund, including return shipping when applicable

Your satisfaction matters, and we will make it right when the issue is on our end.

Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected, you will receive an email confirmation.

If approved:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Processing typically takes 3–10 business days, depending on your bank or card provider

Delayed Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund yet:

  1. Check your bank or credit card account
  2. Contact your card issuer (processing times vary)
  3. Reach out to your bank

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are damaged or defective due to our error.

Exchanges for preference or change of mind are not available.

Gifts

If an item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you:

  • You will receive store credit equal to the value of the return

If the item was not marked as a gift:

  • The refund will be issued to the original purchaser

  • Return shipping is covered by us if the return is due to our error
  • Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility for change-of-mind returns
  • Shipping costs may be deducted from the refund when applicable

For higher-value returns, we strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. Shipping carriers are outside our control.
